Introduction: Chronic hypergastrinemia is no longer an uncommon phenomenon. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome [ZES], chronic atrophic gastritis [CAG] type A, proton pump inhibitors [PPI] therapy, or Helicobacter pylori-induced CAG type B are causes of hypergastrinemia.
